Care Instructions:
To maintain the performance and appearance of your handmade knife:
- As these knives are handmade, they may retain some protective oils or polishing residue. We recommend giving your knife a thorough wipe-down before first use.
- After each use, clean the blade with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Dry thoroughly to prevent rusting.
- Apply a light oil to the blade and pivot point periodically to ensure smooth operation and to protect against corrosion.
- Store in a dry place. Avoid leaving the knife in damp or humid conditions, as this can affect both the blade and handle materials.
- Use a quality sharpening stone or professional service to maintain the blade's edge. Regular honing will keep your knife in optimal condition.
Legal Information:
- Age Restriction: It is illegal to sell knives to individuals under 18 years of age in the UK. We require all customers to provide valid proof of age upon delivery.
- Delivery Requirements: We will only ship orders using an age verification service. All packages containing blades will be clearly marked and delivered only into the hands of persons aged 18 or over.
- Carrying in Public: UK law permits carrying folding pocket knives with a cutting edge no longer than 3 inches (approximately 76mm) that do not lock. All of our knives comply with these regulations. However, always exercise caution and ensure you have a valid reason for carrying any knife in public.
